  • DynamicHires: disabled putting the darkest color to the beginning of the palette – most used color provides better quality.
  • EHB bug fixes.
  • ehb_animation cli mode for batch conversion of animation/video frames. It calculates more consistent palettes between frames resulting in more stable video.
  • New “distributed” and “distributed2” (cielab version) ham6 palette optimization modes offering further reduction of artefacts.
  • Added image resize tab (experimental). It uses incremental bicubic scaling.
  • Calculated palette is now sorted darkest to brightest.
  • Experimental IFF palette import.

  1. Thanks for the great tool.

    Can the documentation about the command line options be improved?
    I need to call your tool from command line script (Linux) and I struggle finding what all the command line options are. There are way more possible options in the GUI then I see documented for the command line. Especially all the HAM options.

    • Hello, command line support was added at the request of the developer of agaconv. Ham conversion options were grouped in quality profiles where q0 is the lowest quality. They are described in the updated command line section at http://mrsebe.bplaced.net/blog/wordpress/?page_id=374/#cli
      I’ve also added options that can be implemented in command line like dithering, black background, write iff only. Can you specify what options you need to be added? I can add them in the next version. You can describe your gui settings and I can explain what command line settings you’ll need to enter.
